What is FEST FILM LAB?
FFL was created to identify, develop and support new cinematic values, so as to contribute to the audiovisual industry, seeking excellence in cinema art. We’ve created a training center free from academic constraints so participating filmmakers may submerge themselves in the passionate quest for visual storytelling. Attract filmmakers wishing to develop their artistic visions within the professional audiovisual community, so as to grow as artists and professionals.
FEST FILM LAB is a structure of excellence in the teaching in the area of cinema and audiovisual. It is not just another institute for education and workshops, but an institute that presents regular workshops throughout the year, and give the best worldwide professionals in this area. It offers workshops that can change careers, real game changers, we never presented workshops with professionals that are not worldwide recognized and proved their skills in the industry. Some of our experts are David Macmillan (3 times Oscar Winner in the area of Sound), Alex Rodriguez (Oscar nominated editor of Children of Men and Y Tu Mamá También) , Etgar Keret (Winner of the Golden Camera in Cannes) Colin Arthur (special effects guru from films such as 2001 A Space odyssey, or Neverending Story) Laurence Bennett (Oscar Nominated Production Designer, of Films such as Crash) Scandar Copti (Oscar Nominated Director of Ajami) Nancy Bishop (Emmy Award nominated casting director) Philip Bloom (Cinematographer). Our Goal and seal of guarantee is that any of the education received in FEST FILM LAB the content has a real value and will be recognized worldwide, and not just an unimportant line on a CV.
